Hi!

I am Nguyễn Việt Cường (IPA Pronunciation: ), a Vietnamese. In Vietnam, people refer me by the given name Cườngクーン since Nguyễnグエン is the most popular family name (~38% of population) according to an unofficial statistic. For Japanese, who wants to know the meaning of my name, it is 阮 越 強 (in Kanji) for Nguyễn, Việt, and Cường, respectively.

• Jan. 2008: I left VNU for Japan to follow the Ph.D. course in Information Processing at Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST).
• Apr. 2011: I worked for JAIST as a postdoctoral researcher.
• Apr. 2012: I left JAIST for Tokyo to work for HPC SYSTEMS Inc.. My interests here include Parallel File Systems, High-Performance Computing, High-Performance Data Analysis, and Materials Informatics.
• Apr. 2016: I came back JAIST for establishing a joint research on Materials Informatics and Advanced Data Analytics between HPC SYSTEMS Inc. and Dam Laboratory at the JAIST Industrial Collaboration Promotion Center.
• Apr. 2019: I came back Viet Nam for developing the Vietnamese market and building a R&D center for HPC SYSTEMS Inc. in foreign countries. As a result, Intelligent Integration Co., Ltd. (INT², pronounced as int-square) was established in May 2020.
• Nov. 2021, I started teaching some courses on the big data processing and high-performance computing, e.g., INT 6149, INT 6166, at the Faculty of Information Technology (VNU-UET).
• Nov. 2023, I started collaboration with the Institute for Artificial Intelligence (VNU-UET) for research and education on HPC-AI.
• Apr. 2025, I started collaboration with the VNU Information Technology Institute for R&D projects on HPC-AI, Edge Computing, Semiconductor (RISC-V) for industry, academic and government sectors.
