\u00a02.1. General aim<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
To provide comprehensive training in both expertise and high quality human resources and foster university-level talents in information systems in the digital age. Bachelors of Science in Information Systems (Honors Program) will be experts with good quality, comprehensive knowledge of information system, with specialized knowledge shaped in two directions (i) Service integration and Big data management and (ii) Data science and business analysis, construction and development of information systems that adapt well to practical requirements, contributing to the achievement of the goal of “striving to 2030, Vietnam’s education reaches the regional advanced level \u201d.<\/p>\n
2.2. Specific aim<\/p>\n
2.1.1. About knowledge:<\/p>\n
\n
Equip with necessary mathematical, scientific and technical knowledge for the fields of Computer and Information Technology (IT) (in general), the information systems industry (in particular) and the application domain (business, public services, education, …); equip with basic knowledge of the basic principles, natural and social laws in the field of Computer and IT (in general) and information systems (in particular) to develop new knowledge and be able to continue study at a higher level;<\/li>\n
Equip with in-depth knowledge in the fields of Computer and IT (in general) and the information systems (in particular); practical techniques and knowledge to handle complex tasks; knowledge of management, administration, legal knowledge and environmental protection related to IT and information systems;<\/li>\n
Equip with knowledge of organizational processes: Basic concepts related to culture and change of organization, processes of the organization; insights into (i) Big data management and service integration and (ii) Data science and business analysis in the digital age to master how to transform huge amounts of data gathered into redesign solutions and process improvement through business analysis; Understand possible constraints from available technology, financial resources, and organizational capacities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
2.1.2. About skills:<\/p>\n

Fostering the capacity to apply mathematical, scientific and technical knowledge to the information systems and application domain (business, public services, education, …);<\/li>\n
Equip skills in designing and conducting experiments as well as analyzing and interpreting data; Positioning capabilities require information of organizations (businesses, government agencies, schools, non-profit organizations, …); skills to identify, formalize and solve technical problems; skills in using modern techniques and techniques necessary for engineering experimentation;<\/li>\n
Equip system, component, or process design skills that meet a desired need under conditions of practical constraints, such as economics, environment, society, policy, health and safety, ethics, productivity and sustainability;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Equip with organizational architecture design and management skills; organization’s process improvement skills (Existing process analysis based on interviews, observations, document analysis, and other similar methods; Identify and capture information and knowledge findings from big data; Best practice of applying industry reference models to improve process design; Use analysis results as a basis for revised process design; Simulate the proposal process and modify them as needed; Negotiate solutions that meet policy requirements for new processes; Lead the implementation of new processes; Customize the process to suit cultural and ethnic needs);<\/p>\n

Equip with skills to exploit opportunities from technology innovation; skills to identify and evaluate solutions and resource alternatives; infrastructure and data security skills; capacity to understand, manage and control information systems risks;<\/li>\n
Equip with multi-disciplinary team skills, especially multidisciplinary groups combining technology and business;<\/li>\n
Equip with effective communication skills, especially English communication skills equivalent to level 4\/6 according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework used for Vietnam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
