Lecturers and research staff have worked as leaders and participants of 10 scientific projects at national level, 30 projects at Ministry, Department or local level. Hundreds of research findings have been published in recognized academic journals and conference papers inside and outside the country.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"contentview TextSize\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000080;\">The most popular areas of research include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000080;\"><em>Engineering Mechanics and Automation<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000080;\"><em>Hydro-pneumatic Industrial and Environmental issues<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000080;\"><em>Marine Engineering Mechanics<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000080;\"><em>Technical Diagnosis<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000080;\"><em>Mechanics of materials and composite structure<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000080;\"><em>Aerospace Technology<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000080;\">The model of University \u2013 Research Institute has been attached great importance by many universities. However, the implementation of this model has posed quite a few challenges. From the early days of its establishment, the University of Engineering and Technology has paid proper attention to the combination of the university and research institutes. Professor Nguy\u1ec5n V\u0103n Hi\u1ec7u, the first rector of UET, was the among the pioneers to carry out the policy on connecting the University with Research Institutes and enterprises. This is also the Party and Government\u2019s policy to promote the nation\u2019s internal resources for the development of science and technology. As an enthusiastic follower, Professor Nguy\u1ec5n H\u1eefu \u0110\u1ee9c has proposed the concept of \u201cFaculty under co-management\u201d and \u201cLaboratory under co-management\u201d. Accordingly, the Faculty of Engineering Mechanics and Automation has worked closely with Institute for Engineering Mechanics, Industrial Machinery and Instruments Holding (IMI) and Space Technology Institute. Thanks to this, the Faculty\u2019s lecturers and researchers are provided with easy access to the multi-faceted laboratories owned by the University of Engineering &amp; Technology and those owned by the partnership organizations including Laboratory for Industrial Hydraulics, Laboratory for Technical Diagnosis of Structures, Laboratory for Mechanics, Laboratory for Environmental Studies, with sufficient equipment for measuring and field survey, calculation devices and mechanical calculation programs which can be applied in different fields such as Construction Mechanics and Mechanics of Machine, River, Sea and Air Mechanics, Industrial Hydraulics and Environment, Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Technology.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000080;\">\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000080;\">\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/2489013871.e.cdneverest.net\/en.uet.edu.vn\/2021\/12\/Screenshot-2021-12-06-085614.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10142\" src=\"https:\/\/2489013871.e.cdneverest.net\/en.uet.edu.vn\/2021\/12\/Screenshot-2021-12-06-085614.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"670\" height=\"323\" srcset=\"https:\/\/2489013871.e.cdneverest.net\/en.uet.edu.vn\/2021\/12\/Screenshot-2021-12-06-085614-360x174.png 360w, https:\/\/2489013871.e.cdneverest.net\/en.uet.edu.vn\/2021\/12\/Screenshot-2021-12-06-085614-255x123.png 255w, https:\/\/2489013871.e.cdneverest.net\/en.uet.edu.vn\/2021\/12\/Screenshot-2021-12-06-085614.png 670w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px\" \/><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000080;\">There are a number of professors working as researchers at the Faculty including: Prof. D.Sc.
